1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to seychellesmarinesurvey.com and the Seychelles Marine Survey information and referral service. By using the website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Operator
Seychelles Marine Survey is operated by TB Boat Services Ltd, Office Q1-2-095, Gold Park, SAIF Zone, P.O. Box 7751, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
Contact: contact@marinesurveyinternational.com.
3. Nature of the service
Seychelles Marine Survey provides information and may introduce a client to one or more independent marine surveyors or survey businesses. We do not perform the survey and do not become the surveyor, classification society, flag administration, insurer, lender, broker or contracting professional.
An introduction is not a recommendation, warranty or guarantee of competence, availability, price, independence, regulatory authority or report acceptance. You remain responsible for selecting, appointing and instructing the surveyor.
4. Independent surveyor appointment
Before appointing a surveyor, you should confirm:
- the exact client, purpose, scope and limitations of the survey;
- the surveyor's experience with the vessel type, material and size;
- professional qualifications, memberships and insurance;
- fees, expenses, travel, haul-out and sea-trial arrangements;
- report format, timing and permitted reliance;
- conflicts of interest and independence; and
- any appointment or acceptance required by a flag, registry, classification society, insurer, lender or other organization.
Professional membership is not automatically equivalent to flag or statutory approval. Acceptance must be verified for the particular vessel and assignment.
5. Contract with the surveyor
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the professional survey contract is directly between you and the selected surveyor. The surveyor is responsible for their proposal, terms of engagement, inspection, report, advice, professional duties, fees and insurance.
TB Boat Services Ltd is not a party to that professional contract and does not control the surveyor's methods or conclusions.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate and complete enquiry information;
- have authority to provide vessel and contact information;
- notify the surveyor of known defects, deadlines and intended report use;
- arrange lawful vessel access, permissions and attendance;
- agree responsibility for lift, wash, sea-trial, skipper and specialist costs;
- review the surveyor's terms before appointment; and
- use the website and communications lawfully.
7. Information on the website
Website content is general information and is not legal, insurance, financial, registration, classification or technical survey advice. Requirements and professional availability can change. You should obtain confirmation from the relevant surveyor, insurer, lender, registry, flag administration or other accepting body.
We aim to keep information useful and accurate but do not promise that all content is complete, current or suitable for a particular vessel.
8. Quotations, fees and availability
Any survey quotation, availability statement or proposed scope comes from the relevant independent provider unless we expressly state otherwise. Travel, haul-out, sea trial, laboratory work and specialist attendance may be separate costs.
The current website does not take payment. Any future referral or administrative fee will be disclosed separately before it becomes payable.
9. Prohibited use
You must not:
- use the service for an unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
- submit malicious code, automate abusive requests or interfere with security;
- misrepresent your identity or authority;
- scrape, republish or commercially exploit the website without permission;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; or
- use contact information for unsolicited marketing.

We are also not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or reliance on general website information.
